The seller bought this car new, with only 5 miles on it! He tells us this car is as original as she came from the factory (except for the battery and miscellaneous maintenance). She has never had any paint work, body work, or interior work. The only service work she’s had is intake gaskets (replaced by the dealer) and routine maintenance. |

[ Paint ] – According to the seller, the paint on this Viper is original factory paint. It looks very smooth without any apparent scratches. There are some tiny chips across the nose – maybe a dozen or so, no more than 1/8” in diameter (scroll down and click to see additional photos below).
[ Body ] – All of the body fits look like they would have from the factory. The doors, door bottoms, and hood look uniform, and the tail section fits as it should. We could not use our magnets to detect filler, as we usually do, as Vipers are not metal.
[ Chrome/Bright Work ] – There does not seem to be any chrome on the car, other than the wheels and the gas filler cap. Neither shows any obvious scratches or scrapes; maybe just some light buffing marks from cleaning.
[ Glass ] – The seller tells us the glass is original. We did not detect any scratches or pitting, although the windshield does have a couple of little stone abrasions (the largest is about 1/8” in diameter... the others are more like “flea bites”).
[ Interior ] – The interior appears to be original OEM and looks pretty good. The seats are soft, and the black color looks good and dark. We did not detect any damage to the doors, headliner, seat backs, dash, or carpet, although the floor mats show a slight amount of wear. The driver’s seat and arm rest show some wear. There is a spot on the driver’s bolster and an approximately 3/8” dig into the seat. The center console arm rest has a crease that runs from the emergency brake to the back of the seats (scroll down and click to see additional photos).
[ Trunk ] – The trunk appears original and is in great shape. We did not see any issues.
[ Tires and Wheels ] – All 4 tires are Pilot SX Michelins and all have about 7/32 tread depth. The front tires are size 275 40 ZR 17, and the rear tires are 335 35 ZR 17.
[ Under the Hood ] – The V10 Viper engine looks original – we did not see anything obvious missing, added, or altered.
[ Mechanical ] – According to the seller, this Viper steers properly, and brakes correctly. He says she runs just as she was designed, but did add that the gas shocks (that hold up the rear deck) are a little weak.

After the sale (if reserve is met or not); Auto Connection must receive at least a 10% deposit (wire transfer or official bank or cashier’s check) within 3 days of the end of the auction (or the Bill of Sale is signed). The high bidder/buyer has 10 days from this time to send the balance in full or final payment and inspect the vehicle (or have a 3rd party professional inspection). |
| For the most part; the vehicle for sale is not “perfect”. It is unreasonable to assume that every single flaw in the paint; body; engine; etc. or any minor mechanical items (such as a light not working) be considered a reason to refuse the vehicle. Major rust/rot; undisclosed problems with the frame; etc. might constitute a legitimate reason for the buyer to refuse to follow through with the sale. In that situation; Auto Connection would negotiate with the seller and buyer to try to reach an agreeable solution. |

He accepts the vehicle with all advertised equipment; options and accessories in "AS IS" condition with any faults or defects. The buyer will bear all future costs of repairs or correcting any defects that exist or may occur in the future.
